Don't listen to the haters. Usually Karens who do not understand a local business will complain. Always had a good experience here. Yeah your waiting for your food so what. They make to order. It's fresh and if you have any issues I'm sure if you act like a cordial human being you might get your problem fixed if any problem occurs. They are always kind here and I can't believe I haven't been coming here more often. I've lived here for 30yrs and man have I missed out! You don't see too many businesses like this around here. The burgers here are phenomenal! Give them a try!

Always great food!! Tonight (5/28/24), I ordered ahead and went to pick up the food. The girl that took my order was the same one at the window/register. She was awesome! Made me feel special. Wish I knew her name so I could give her props. Hopefully, the owner will see this and tell her! She even leaned out the window when we were leaving and told us to please be careful! You don't come across too many younger people these days (I'm 54) who have the great manners like she does!! Great job!

We stopped in about an hour before closing. The cashier was very friendly and the lady running the kitchen was also. We put in a good size order and waited at the table for our number to be called. Our food was up pretty quickly and was hot and fresh. My sons had the bbq beef and pork. I got a 10oz chopped steak with mushroom and onions. We all shared a little bit with each other and we thought it was all delicious. We also got an onion ring and fried garlic mushroom appetizer. We really enjoyed our meal and will need back when in the area!

I have been coming here for years. It has been rough with inconsistent staff and service. Emily is a shining star here. My lunch trips are always pleasant and correct when she is working. The food has been delicious and accurately made per request.

I used to come to Merle's all the time when I lived in the area, and I haven't been back since covid. I got a chance to stop in for lunch while in the area for a home inspection for a client, and glad I did. Food is still the same great food, wings and brunswick stew are always my favorite. They have some big monster burgers too, but I'm holding back on the carbs a bit right now. They've updated since it looks like, but it's still a great hidden gem for some good BBQ. G it First time ever going was today and the food was great just as I expected delicious barbecue and Brunswick Steve and really good french fries potatoes

Last night we wanted something out of the ordinary for supper. We went to Merle’s BBQ. We share all our meals which sometimes brings up some challenges. We got a Big Boy Cheese Burger, cut in 1/2, with lettuce, mayo & mustard on the side plus 10 wings. Our order came out quickly, prepared exactly correct and tasted great. I was a bit surprised how busy the young lady that served us was, she was handling drive thru, dine in and carry out orders, all at the same time. She was friendly, welcoming, attentive, got every detail absolutely correct and seemed as if she was excited we came in to eat with her. Even with it being a bit of a drive from East Paulding, we will return more often. — eating dinner at Merle's southren bbq.

Fantastic lunch spot! Their chili dogs and fries exceeded expectations, beating out more popular competitors! Friendly, helpful staff made our experience exceptional. Highly recommend! We'll definitely return!
